When Book’s Automotive first opened its doors in August of 1939, The Wizard of Oz and Gone With The Wind were just getting ready to be released into theaters, a gallon of gas cost $0.19 and FDR was in the White House… A lot has obviously changed in our country since then, but we remain committed to the principles and values that W.R. Book established when he opened up shop in Fountain eight decades ago.
